A man has made off empty handed following an attempted bank robbery in Larne.
Staff at Danske Bank on Main Street say a man entered the premises at around 2.30 on Monday afternoon demanding cash.
The suspect made off right along Main Street empty handed, and police are appealing for information.
He is described as being approximately 5’6” tall, small to medium build, wearing a blue sports type jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Detective Sergeant Crothers has asked witnesses to contact Detectives in Larne on 101 quoting reference number 702 of 03/07/17.
