A man has been taken to hospital after he was shot at a house in north Belfast.
The incident happened in Mount Vernon Park and the injured man is in his fifties.
A police statement said: "
It was reported at around 8.50pm that a man aged in his 50's had been shot at a house in the area.
He has been taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
