A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was beaten with metal bars at his home in North Belfast.
A number of men wearing black face masks attacked the man at around 9.30pm last night at Meadow Grove and also broke the windows of the mans house and damaged his car.
The victim received injuries to his head, arms and ribs and was treated in hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, or may have witnessed any suspicious activity, to contact 101 quoting reference number 1942 of 09/11/2
