A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Belfast City Centre.
The victim - who is in his 40s - was attacked in Lanyon Place this morning.
Officers remain at the scene close to the Lagan Railway and Pedestrian Bridge.
In a statement PSNI said there are no further details at this time.
"Police are attending a report of a stabbing incident in the area of Lanyon Place in Belfast this morning," it said.
"A man in his 40's has been taken to hospital for his injuries.
"There is no further details at this time."
