A man has been charged after a young woman was attacked and dragged along a pathway in Co Tyrone.
It happened just before 7pm between Castlehill Terrace and Crewhill Terrace in Coalisland on Thursday evening.
The 24-year-old victim escaped serious injury.
Police said officers were threatened when they attended a property at Bellavale Terrace following the assault and made an arrest.
The 30-year-old suspect is accused of common assault, possession of an offensive weapon and assault on police.
He is expected to appear at Dungannon Magistrates court this morning.
Charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
