A masked man has torched a car in Derry Londonderry.
He smashed the window of a Toyota before pouring an accelerant and setting it alight just before 8pm last night on Glenabbey Drive.
In a statement the PSNI said: "It was reported that just before 8pm, a man with a mask covering his face, arrived at Glenabbey Drive in a Toyota Avensis car.
"He got out of the car, smashed a window of a parked Peugeot 307 car and poured an accelerant inside, before setting it alight. He then made off from the scene in the Toyota.
"Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers would ask anyone with any information to contact them at Strand Road on 101 quoting reference number 1366 12/10/17. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
