It's understood two cars damaged in an arson attack in Cookstown belong to a Mid Ulster flute band.
Police are investigating the possibility it was a hate crime.
They were set alight early this morning in the Millburn area.
In a statement, Cookstown Ulster Unionist Councillor, Trevor Wilson said "This is another disgusting attack in the Mid Ulster Council area and should be categorically condemned.
"Members of Sons of William Flute Band were attending a concert in Carrickfergus on Saturday night and on their return home discovered that one of their cars had been burnt out and an attempt was made to burn another one. Its back windscreen was smashed and an attempt was made to set it on fire."
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Police are investigating an incident of suspected arson in the Millburn area of Cookstown.
"In the early hours of this morning (Sunday 15th October) two cars were damaged by fire.
"Police are investigating the possibility of a hate related motive in connection with this incident and would appeal for anybody who witnessed anything suspicious to contact them in Magherafelt on 101 quoting reference number 91 15/10/17.
"Alternatively any person with information in relation to this incident may contact police anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
