Charlotte Caldwell - whose son suffers from intractable epilepsy - has praised fund-raising efforts to support her son.
Her son - Billy - is currently in the U.S. seeking life-saving treatment - which would put to an end possibly fatal seizures.
Charlotte set up the 'Keep Billy Alive' campaign earlier this year to try and meet mounting medical costs.
She says she's thankful of all the help that has been given so far - and that it means a lot.
"We're just truly indebted to the generosity of the public - just truly indebted," Charlotte told Q radio news.
"I can't thank them enough for what they've done for Billy and for what they continue to do," she added.
In the face of mounting medical costs, the County Tyrone mum has been relying on the generous charity efforts from across Northern Ireland.
