West Tyrone MLA Michaela Boyle has welcomed the launch of a new online application form for Blue Badges.
A new online application form for Blue Badges has been welcomed.
Sinn Féin MLA Micheala Boyle says the new scheme will make it much easier for those applying for the permits as well as relieving backlogs.
"I welcome the decision by my colleague Chris Hazzard to launch a new online application form for Blue Badges," she said.
"With around 200 applications every day for new and renewal badges this scheme will make it much easier for those applying for Blue Badges and help relive the current backlog," she added.
The West Tyrone assemblywoman is now urging people to use the new online facility.
"The new online facility will help make the turnaround quicker so I would urge people to apply online if they are in a position to do so by going to https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/services/apply-or-renew-blue-badge," she said.
