A Newry pensioner who lost her husband and daughter in an horrific crash on the A1 dual carriageway at the weekend says she's shocked and devastated.
83-year-old Evelyn Halliday has spoken to Q Radio ahead of separate funeral services on Tuesday for her late partner Raymond and daughter Anna Dodds.
They died on Friday at the Moneymore Road junction outside Newry following a crash.
Raymond and Anna were travelling in a silver Skoda Fabia when the collision occurred at around 2:45pm on the northbound carriageway.
The collision also involved a lorry and a bronze coloured Ford Focus.
87-year-old Mr. Halliday was bringing his step-daughter, who was 47, to Banbridge.
She had been due to catch a bus with friends to a country music concert in Belfast.
Evelyn says she still can't believe they're gone.
She says husband Raymond was wonderful.
Evelyn's told Q Radio her much-loved only daughter was a big country music fan.
The 83-year-old's called for improvements on the A1 dual carriageway.
