Northern Ireland's lights could go out in 2021 because of an energy crisis, South Antrim MP Danny Kinahan is warning.
And he says the lack of a Stormont Executive is exacerbating the problem.
And the NI Affairs Committee, on which he sits, says power bills will soar unless works starts now on a North-South interconnector.
Mr Kinahan says other factors will contribute to a 'perfect storm' for consumers:
Man injured after house and three vehicles set alight in Co Antrim
IT system for Northern Ireland schools ‘largely restored’ following cyber attack
£100 home heating oil grant to be paid out by ‘summer at earliest’
Arrest made after hot water thrown over man at Co Tyrone court
Stormont urged to address ‘catastrophe’ in hospital emergency departments
