A twenty-two-year-old woman has appeared in court after allegedly making her way into a house in Maguiresbridge, County Fermanagh and stabbing the female occupant multiple times.
Caoimhe Walsh from Clonmore Gardens, Omagh, is accused of unlawfully and maliciously causing grievous bodily harm to the victim on 10 January, as well as possessing a knife with intent to inflict injury.
A detective constable told Enniskillen Magistrates Court the charges could be connected.
Walsh, who appeared by video-link from Omagh Police Station dressed in a grey custody-issue sweatshirt, confirmed she understood the charges.
While details of the incident were not disclosed, the court heard the victim is currently in Intensive Care as a result of her injuries.
A number of people who were in attendance at the scene have still to be spoken to by police.
There was no application for bail at this stage and Deputy District Judge Liam McNally ordered Walsh to appear again by video-link next week.
