Only one person in Fermanagh and Omagh has been caught allowing a dog to foul.
And in Mid-Ulster, it’s the same picture with one fixed penalty notice being issued to the owner.
Meanwhile, twenty nine people have been caught littering in Mid-Ulster this year.
It’s the second lowest in Northern Ireland.
By contrast, 168 people have been handed fixed penalty notices in Fermanagh and Omagh.
That’s the fifth highest.
It’s emerged that Northern Ireland’s eleven councils spent over £43m on cleaning streets – that’s a rise of over eight per cent on spending during the previous year.
