It's been confirmed planned surgical operations at Craigavon and Daisy Hill hospitals were cancelled because there weren't enough beds.
The Trust didn't determine the number of operations that weren't carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, but it's thought to be more than 50.
A Trust spokesperson said this included a "small number of 'red flag' procedures... due to extreme bed pressures."
He continued, "Emergency surgery continued as normal.
"We are very sorry for the inconvenience and distress caused to patients and we will do everything we can to re-schedule these operations as soon as possible, with priority given to the most urgent surgery."
