A petition has started online to bring back the old traffic system to Dungannon. Many people are deserting the town centre as they find the new two million pound traffic and parking system very unsuitable.
One local resident told Q radio that she has signed up to the campaign.
This comes just after Dungannon and Cookstown town centres received a regeneration boost of three hundred thousand pounds.
Mid Ulster council has described the current situation in Dungannon as 'unacceptable'.
It is understood they are now examining proposals to overhaul the changes.
