A bid to build a major new sports centre in Carrickmore has taken a step forward in terms of developments.
Planning permission to build a £4.5 million sporting hub has been lodged after two years in development.
The Carrickmore Multi Sports Group has submitted permission to build the centre on the grounds of the St.Colmcille's GAA complex.

It's a joint venture between the GAA club and a number of other sporting clubs.
Subject to funding and planning, the proposed facility will include a general sports hall, two handball courts, a fitness suite, community meeting and outreach facilities, a boxing club, changing facilities and a floodlit artificial pitch.
The success of facilities built in Loughmacrory and Galbally have become benchmarks for many local groups around Tyrone, who would like similar projects built in their own areas.
