Police in Strabane are investigating a report of damage caused to a plaque situated within the grounds of St.James Parish Church on the Longland Road, Donemana.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said:
"The plaque is marble and is situated adjacent to the front gates of the Church.
"Unfortunately the plaque has been completely destroyed.
"There is a possibility that this damage was caused by a vehicle or trailer conducting a manoeuvre within the grounds of the Church.
"Anyone with information can contact Police on 101 quoting reference number 1102 05/02/18."
