Police are appealing for information following the report of a distraction-type burglary in the Ballymena Road area of Ahoghill yesterday afternoon.
At about 1.30 pm, two men called to the door of a house in the area and spoke to the man inside offering to do some painting.
As the resident spoke to one of the men, the other entered the property and took a sum of cash.

The victim saw the burglar in the property and asked both men to leave, but not before the money had been taken.
