Police officers came under attack last night, while carrying out searches in the Creggan area of Derry/Londonderry.
They were on the Ballymagowan Road as part of an ongoing investigation into dissident republican activity.
A number of youths damaged PSNI vehicles in the area.
However, there were no reports of any injuries.
