The PSNI has been carrying out high visibility patrols across the North West in an effort to deter burglaries.
Money was stolen after thieves broke into a car in the Davis Crescent area of Newtonstewart on Sunday morning.
Officers from the Strabane Local Policing Team carried out anti burglary patrols in the town as well as Strabane and Sion Mills on Sunday night.
Meanwhile, the Strand Road Local Policing Team patrolled the Ballymagoarty, Shantallow, Galliagh and Culmore area.
Officers are urging residents to help keep their community safe by locking doors and windows.
