Police say they're treating racist graffiti that's appeared in Portrush as a hate crime.
The words 'Syrians not welcome' were sprayed on a wall at the West Strand car park sometime between 5pm last night and early this morning.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area is being urged to contact police.
Local MLA Caoimhe Archibald has condemned the attack:
Local MLA John Dallat said:
"This is a classic example of xenophobia, a hatred against foreigners and it must not be allowed to occupy public space anywhere."
"Portrush is our premier tourist resort that welcomes visitors from many parts of the world in increasing numbers thanks to the hard work of Tourism Ireland which is based locally."
