Portrush has been named the UK's most expensive seaside resort by a new survey.
Hotel booking site cheaprooms.co.uk compared lodging rates across 30 popular coastal areas.
The average prices for the most affordable available double room in a hotel or guest house during August were considered. Only residences within easy reach of a beach and have at least three stars were considered.
Top of the rankings is St Ives, with an average rate of £164 per night. Second on the list is Oban, while Poole comes in third at £128.
Portrush's average daily rate was £84. Meanwhile, Blackpool is the cheapest UK resort, with average rates of just £42 per night.
