Fermanagh police say they're investigating a 'suspicious' phone-call made to a local newspaper earlier this week.
Police in County Fermanagh say they're "making enquiries", after they received a report of a suspicious telephone call to a newspaper on Monday.
It was revealed yesterday that a group calling itself 'Republican Social Action' placed a call to the Fermanagh Herald earlier this week, warning that they were prepared to take action on anti-social behaviour in the area.
Officers confirmed the news in a statement yesterday.
"Police have received a report about a suspicious telephone call in Enniskillen on the 12th of September and are making enquiries," it read.
Councillor for the town of Enniskillen, Howard Thornton (UUP), has described the incident as "sinister".
"This is sinister, if a new group is putting itself forward now - with code-words and so on and so forth - I mean, this county is basically jobless. We need to start getting jobs and employment back," he said.
"Any move towards terrorism again, I mean nobody wants it," he added.
