Q Radio has won a major UK industry award.
It picked up bronze for "Best Station Sound" at the 2018 ARIAS in Leeds last night.
The ARIAS are the Oscars of UK radio.
Q Radio was the only commercial station in Northern Ireland to win.
Programme Director James Devlin told Q Radio news:
"Local’ is at the heart of Q Radio, so the ‘Proud To Be Local’ project was a labour of love for all of us - from the researchers, to the writers and producers, and the voice artists.
Our listeners told us that they loved them, and it’s very gratifying for our work to have been recognized at the ARIAS".
