New research has shown that Queen's University in Belfast has been ranked as the 8th most affordable university in the UK.
The figures have been released by 'Totally Money', a credit check and comparison specialist.
It's researchers looked at the Sunday Times Good University Guided 2018 and ranked the Top 50 universities in order, from the most affordable, to least.
It considered the following factors when compiling results:
- weekly rent of university halls
- cinema ticket price
- monthly gym membership cost
- cappuccino cost
- meal cost
- price of a pint from Wetherspoon
- the cost of a doner kebab
- price of a cab from the town centre to the university
