A security alert in the Hawthorn Avenue area of Carrickfergus has now ended.
A suspicious object was reported yesterday but police say nothing untoward was found.
Residents have now returned to their homes.
PSNI Inspector Michelle Adams said:
“Residents have now returned to their homes, and I am keen to thank those who were inconvenienced for their patience and understanding.”
