The Strule Arts Centre in Omagh has officially opened a Roof Top Museum.

This is the first step towards developing a museum that will display historical features and artefacts from Omagh and its surrounding areas.

Those who attended the exhibit had the opportunity to view items from bygone days, while children got to enjoy playing games and with toys from the past.

Fermanagh and Omagh district council has organised monthly 'Meet the Museum team' dates, which will begin on Tuesday, 28th of February at 2pm.

These meetings will allow members of the public to call into the Strule Arts Centre and discuss further improvements and ways to move the museum forward. They will also cover the process of any donations that can added to the museums collection.

The Roof Top Museum will be open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am- 5.00pm - free admission.
