Police in Mid Ulster managed to seize a small quantity of Cannabis in Coalisland at the weekend after carrying out stop and search operations.
Yesterday, a spokesperson for the PSNI said:
"Officers from our Mid Ulster DST carried out a stop and search in the Coalisland area this evening and found these two bags of cannabis on two males (image to right).
"The drugs have been seized and taken off our streets and files are being prepared for the PPS.
"This is an excellent example of proactive policing and shows both drug dealers and users that police are out there patrolling looking for drugs and those caught with illegal drugs will be dealt with robustly. #Keeping drugs off our streets."
