Three masked men with a knife have got away with cash after kicking their way into a flat in north Belfast.
They threatened and attacked the man on Shore Crescent around 2am this morning.
No-one's been arrested.
PSNI Detective Inspector Kerry Brennan said: "At around 2am this morning, Sunday 23 December, it was reported that three masked men had kicked their way into a flat on Shore Crescent.
"They threatened the lone male occupant with a knife before assaulting him and fleeing with a sum of cash.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area this morning and who may have noticed the three males or any vehicles. Detectives can be contacted at Musgrave CID by calling 101, quoting reference 229 23/12/18."
