Cookstown Visitor Information Centre has been shortlisted for a top travel award.
The centre is one of five nominees for the 2016 NI Travel and Tourism Awards.
It recognises excellence in customer service in the industry.
The award winners will be announced on Friday 21 October at a special ceremony in the Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle.
Paying tribute to the staff, Chair of the Council, Councillor Trevor Wilson, praised the work: “To be shortlisted in a competitive category which includes the likes of Visit Belfast is an achievement in itself and testament to the high quality advice and information which the staff provide whether in person to those who come through the doors of the centre, over the phone, or increasingly, with on-line enquiries from across the world”.
