Two people have been arrested after police found a number of firearms during a search in west Belfast.
It focussed on a property in the Springfield Road area of the city.
The suspects, a 49-year-old man and a woman, 51 are being questioned in connection with various firearms offences.
PSNI Detective Chief Inspector White said: "A man, 49, and a 51 year old woman have been arrested in relation to various firearms offences and have been taken to Musgrave Police Station where they are currently being questioned."
