A further two people have died at Daisy Hill Hospital's Male Medical Ward in Newry, after contracting COVID-19.
There's now been five Coronavirus related deaths on the ward in the Southern Trust hospital.
Robin Swann announced the news at Stormont on Monday following an urgent question from the SDLP's Justin McNulty.
He told the Assembly that 'no stone will be left unturned' during an investigation into the outbreak at the Co Down hospital and offered families affected his 'deepest sympathies'.
A total of 12 patients and 27 staff members have tested positive for the virus following the outbreak.
