Two Mid-Ulster beauty queens hit the small screen last night in a bid to find love.

Karen Montague from Maghera - and former Miss Northern Ireland Leanne McDowell from Cookstown - appeared on Beauty Queen and Single.

Here’s Karen:

The women stripped back their makeup and went on dates to find out if love is more than skin deep.

Over the weeks each of the contestants will step out with admirers.
