Candlelit vigils were held in Tyrone yesterday, paying tribute to the former Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness.
He died yesterday morning in Altnagelvin, following a short illness.
There were mixed emotions for people across Ireland following the death of Martin McGuinness.
Some saw the man as a leader; a hero and a comrade, while others saw him as a terrorist.
Although Mr McGuinness worked towards getting peace in Northern Ireland, many struggled to forget his past life in the IRA.
Despite those reactions, many people gathered in Strabane yesterday evening to show their respect to him and pay tribute.

MLA Michaela Boyle was joined by local councillors and MP Pat Doherty.
They shared some personal stories and experiences about their time with Martin McGuinness; both as a friend and a colleague.
An emotional Mr. Doherty said they knew each other for more than 40 years and that he couldn't believe the death of his friend had actually happened.

The vigil concluded with everyone joining in to sing the Irish National Anthem 'Amhrán na bhfiann' together.
Following the service, people lined out the door to sign a book of condolences at a local council office.
