A woman in her 60's has been threatened at knifepoint at her home in Larne.
She answered a knock to the door in the pound street area at around 11 o clock last night and was confronted by a woman holding a knife.
The victim was forced back into her home where she was forced to hand over a sum of cash.
The suspect then made off on foot in the direction of Meetinghouse Street.
She is described as being approximately 5’ 7” tall, of slim build and was wearing jeans, a blue top and a baseball cap.
The victim was not injured but left shaken by her ordeal.
