Almost 30 young people have taken part in Mid Ulster District Council’s first piping and drumming summer school.
It ran for six weeks at the Burnavon in Cookstown.
The children were tutored in pipes, drums, Scottish small pipes, whistles and Chanter pipes.
The programme ran in partnership with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association Northern Ireland.
The summer school concluded with performances.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Trevor Wilson says the commitment of the students should be commended.
And George Usher, President of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association says he was impressed with the skills shown.
