A house has been petrol-bombed in Ballymena.
Around 3.45am on Saturday a device was thrown at the front window of the house in Barra Drive, setting fire to window blinds and a chair. Extensive smoke damage was caused to the living room. But no one was in the house at the time.
Police would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has information about this incident to contact Detectives at
Reactive and Organised Crime, Ballymena on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 235 15/10/16. Alternatively, if someone would prefer to
provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
