A County Tyrone boy getting treatment for epilepsy in the US has faced a major setback.
Billy Caldwell is in a critical condition in hospital after suffering extreme seizures.
The 11 year old is in LA awaiting surgery to treat his condition.
His heartbroken mother Charlotte has posted on social media asking for prayers.
"This is undoubtedly a very unexpected and frightening time for us. Finding it difficult to find the words as this is incomprehensible.
"The reality is I am hurting so very badly now and trying to find the words to pray? One moment I'm just sitting in silence hoping , god hears my heart break and in the next moment tears just keep coming!
"Billy is undoubtedly in a crisis situation! My heart is breaking for Billy. The weight of this situation is so heavy I am finding it difficult to breath.
"Billy is so innocent and vulnerable. I don't understand why this is happening?" Charlotte Caldwell added.
The Castlederg family recently set up a petition calling for medicinal cannabis oil to be made legal in Northern Ireland in an attempt to help Billy.
