An elderly woman's the latest victim in a spate of burglaries across Bessbrook and Camlough (CAM-la).
Thieves broke into her home through the front door in Monnina Park last night around 9:30pm.
The woman, who is in her 80s, was disturbed by the noise and went to investigate.
From the top of the stairs she saw a man in the hall who left the house when she screamed at him.
He got into a white car which sped off in the direction of Camlough.
The man's described as being around 5’5” tall, of thin build and he was wearing black clothing and a black hat with a tassle on the top.
Nothing was reported stolen, however, the elderly lady was left shaken following the incident.
More than fourteen robberies have been reported in nearly two weeks.
The police are looking for a black or dark-coloured BMW series 1 car understood to be carrying a group of four to five men.
