Mrs McKeefry died after being attacked by cattle on her farm last week
The funeral of Breige Mckeefrey took place yesterday morning. Mrs McKeefrey was laid to rest after a mass at St Mary's in Craigavole.
The 70 year-old Mrs McKeefrey, died after being attacked by cattle on her family farm last week. Tributes were paid to Mrs McKeefrey by the likes of MLAs Adrian McQuillan and Caoimhe Archibald, along with Councillor Roisin Loftus.
The Health and Safety Executive has since opened an investigation into the incident. Both Ms Archibald and Mr McQuillan said that the incident served as a sad reminder of the dangers and risks faced by the agricultural community.
