Man in hospital after Derry-Londonderry assault

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after an assault in Derry-Londonderry.

It happened in the Market Street area of the town shortly before midnight on Saturday.

His injuries aren't thought to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information.
