The Department of Health has reported one further Covd-19 death in the past 24 hours.

The Department of Health has said there has been one Covid-19 death reported in the past 24 hours.

According to the latest statistics released this afternoon, there have been 69 new positive cases in the same period.

In a Tweet the department added that a full breakdown of hospital admissions and intensive care cases will be updated on the department's website on Tuesday, after the Bank Holiday Weekend.

The Coronavirus death toll in Northern Ireland now stands at 2,146, according to the department’s figures.

There have been no new Covid deaths in the last 24 hours,
