A play based on the story of Dungannon drug mules Michaella McCollum and her accomplice Melissa Reid has opened at the Edinburgh Festival.
'Mule' is based on fictional characters – however, their stories closely resemble those of the Peru Two.
McCollum and Reid were jailed after attempting to smuggle £1.5m worth of cocaine out of Lima.
McCollum returned to Dungannon on Saturday night after being released from jail in April.
The play runs until the 29th of this month.
On the Fringe website, the plot of the play is outlined: "Naive and threatened or calculated and planned? How does the seemingly innocent adventure of a summer spent in the party capital of the world spiral out of control and end locked up in a notoriously hard core South American prison?
"Inspired by the real events of the Peru Two, Mule explores the murky, hedonistic world of drug smuggling and its apparent female-isation."
The play is written and directed by Kat Woods.
