A police officer jumped in to water to help a man who got in to difficulty while cliff diving in County Antrim.
The alarm was raised at Dunluce just before 6 yesterday evening.
On arrival one of the attending officers at the scene dived into the water and kept the male afloat until colleagues from RNLI arrived and brought them both to shore.
The casualty was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
