What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?

For their 150th anniversary, The RNIB has created a video featuring blind and partially sighted children from across the UK sharing their hopes and dreams of the future.

The RNIB hope to have viewers reminiscing about what dreams were as a child and perhaps what/who has got in the way, challenges they had to overcome, and if they are indeed ‘living the dream’!

The world has changed beyond recognition since RNIB was born 150 years ago. Advances in technology and medicine, new laws and changing attitudes mean that life for blind and partially sighted people today is very different to how it would have been 150 years ago.

In September RNIB rebranded. The new strapline says ‘see differently’ encouraging people to ‘see the person, not the sight loss’.
