£1000 worth of cannabis and drug related items seized in Newry

Around £1000 of cannabis "in various forms" has been seized following searches in Newry.

The PSNI says they were carried out after receiving reports of possible drug dealing in the city.

Plastic deal style bags, scales and cash in both Sterling and Euros were also recovered from the premises.
