A 24 year old man has been left in a serious condition in hospital after being assaulted in Portaferry.
It happened shortly before 1am on Sunday 14th October.
Police say two people have been arrested and are being detained at Musgrave Street Custody Suite.
Meanwhile, the victim remains at Belfast Royal Victoria Hospital.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area and has not yet spoken to PSNI officers, to get in touch.
