A 43 year old man has been arrested, following the report of arson on a house in the Ballygowan Park area of Banbridge on Thursday 5th November.
Detective Sergeant Wilson said: “At around 11:15pm, it was reported that a house in the area was set alight causing damage to the property. No one was inside the house at the time of the incident.
“The man was arrested on suspicion of arson endangering life with intent and other offences and has been released on bail in relation to this incident.
“Enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1902 of 05/11/20.

"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
