A 50 year old man has been arrested in the Holywood area as part of the continuing Europe wide Operation Venetic investigation.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police also searched 2 properties and seized over £6,0000 and over Euros 5,500, as well as a motorised scooter, mobile phones, a laptop, documentation and a small quantity of Class B drugs.
The man, who remains in custody at Musgrave Police Station, was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including being concerned in the supply of, and conspiracy to import a Class A drug, conspiracy to possess and being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug, conspiracy to Transfer Criminal Property, entering into an arrangement in respect of criminal property and conspiracy to handle stolen property."
