A 57 year old woman has been arrested by police investigating allegations of ill-treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey hospital.
The arrest was made by the PSNI Public Protection Branch this morning in the Antrim Area.
The woman is the 8th person to be arrested in connection with the scandal.
